How We Review and Rate Fitness Software

Every score, comparison, and price you see on FitBizStack comes from a documented process. This page explains that process in full, because trust in a review site should come from the method, not from the adjectives.

Our principles

1. Independence. No vendor can pay for a better score, a better position in a comparison, or inclusion in any list. We do not accept sponsored posts, paid placements, or free subscriptions in exchange for coverage.
2. Verified data. Prices, plans, and features are checked against the vendor's official website on a specific date, which we display on every page. If a vendor does not publish its pricing, we say so explicitly instead of guessing.
3. Usefulness first. We write for one reader: a trainer, coach, or gym owner who needs to make a buying decision this week. Every article answers the questions that decision actually raises, not the questions that fill out a keyword list.

How we gather information

For every platform we cover, we work through the same checklist:

• Official documentation and pricing pages, read directly and archived with a verification date.
• Hands-on testing through free trials, demo accounts, or free tiers whenever the vendor offers them: we build a program, schedule a session, process the billing flow, and try the mobile app experience a client would see.
• Community feedback from public sources — Reddit, Facebook groups for trainers and gym owners, and niche forums — to capture the complaints and praise that only appear after months of daily use.
• Release notes and changelogs, so that recent feature launches or price changes are reflected rather than repeated from outdated third-party articles.

The rating system

Each platform receives an editorial score from 1 to 10, calculated from six weighted criteria:

Scores are ours alone. A score of 8.0+ means we recommend the tool for most buyers in its category; 7.0–7.9 means good with meaningful gaps you should weigh against your use case; 6.0–6.9 means mixed and worth comparing carefully; below 6.0 means we recommend most buyers look elsewhere.

Pricing verification

Every price on this site was verified on the vendor's official pricing page on the date shown at the top or bottom of the relevant section ("Prices last verified on…"). Our review schedule works like this:

• Prices are verified on the day an article is published.
• Pages with significant traffic get a monthly re-verification of prices and plans.
• If a vendor changes pricing mid-cycle, we correct the page as soon as we detect it and update the verification date.

How we make money (and why it doesn't matter to your score)

FitBizStack earns affiliate commissions: when you sign up for a product through certain links, the vendor pays us a percentage or a flat fee, at no extra cost to you. Two facts keep this from distorting our work. First, commissions are paid on signups regardless of which product ranks higher in our content — our revenue depends on trust, not on pushing any particular vendor. Second, we regularly review and recommend products with no affiliate program at all, scored with exactly the same criteria. The full details are in our affiliate disclosure.

Updates and corrections

Every page shows when it was last updated. If you spot an error — a stale price, a discontinued plan, a feature we got wrong — email hello@fitbizstack.com with the page URL. We correct verified errors promptly and note material changes on the page itself.
