Best Software for Small Gyms (2026): Cheapest Options Under 100 Members
The best gym management software for small gyms and boxes, ranked by our independent score, with the real monthly cost at 25, 50 and 100 members and every free plan worth knowing about.
A small gym does not need enterprise reporting or a marketplace. It needs recurring billing that retries failed cards, class booking, check-in and a member app, at a price that does not eat the margin on 30 or 80 members. These are the eight platforms in our catalog that publish a price a small gym can actually see before a sales call, ranked by the same six-factor score we use everywhere. Every one of them costs under $160 a month at 50 members.

Sorted by cost at 50 members. Every price comes from the platform review, each re-checked in October 2026 (the date is on each review). PushPress is shown at Core Pro ($159) because its free plan is paid through a higher card rate instead; Arbox at Standard ($99), the tier with no session cap. WodGuru is free up to 10 members and RhinoFit up to 20 active users, so very small gyms can pay less than shown. ~ marks a modeled figure.
When a free plan stops being free
PushPress Core Free has no monthly fee but charges 4.99% + $0.30 per card payment, against 2.89% + $0.30 on Core Pro ($159/mo). The 2.1-point difference pays for Pro once you process about $7,600 a month, which is roughly 50 members paying $150. Below that, Free is cheaper; above it, Pro is. RhinoFit’s $0 Start Up plan has a similar limit: 20 active users and, in the US and Canada, $2,500 a month processed.
