Privacy policy

This policy explains what information FitBizStack (fitbizstack.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. We are an independent review site — we collect as little as possible, and we never sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Usage data. When enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic (pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type, referring site). GA4 with default settings does not log or store your exact IP address, and we do not enable advertising features that profile individuals.
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to respond, and we keep correspondence only as long as it is useful.
We do not require accounts, we do not ask for names or payment details, and our comment-free pages collect nothing directly from you.

2. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them for two purposes only: measuring aggregate traffic (analytics cookies such as _ga, set by Google Analytics) and, if advertising is enabled, serving and capping ads. You can see full detail in our cookie policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works fine without them.

3. Advertising

We may display ads served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or via aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU). Ads are clearly separated from editorial content and never influence our scores.

4. Affiliate links

Some outbound links to software vendors are affiliate links: if you sign up after clicking, the vendor may pay us a commission. Clicking an affiliate link may set a tracking cookie belonging to that vendor or its affiliate network. We do not receive, and never request, your account data from vendors. Our use of affiliate links is disclosed on every relevant page and detailed in our advertising & affiliate disclosure.

5. Your rights

EEA/UK (GDPR): where processing is based on consent (analytics, personalized ads), you can withdraw it at any time via your browser or the opt-outs above. You may request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (in practice: your email correspondence).
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law. You may request to know what personal information we collect and to delete it, without discrimination.

6. Data security and retention

This site is served over HTTPS and does not store personal data in a database. Analytics data is retained by Google per its standard retention settings and is aggregated. Email correspondence is kept in our mailbox for as long as the conversation is relevant.

7. Children

FitBizStack is directed at business owners and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
