Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FitBizStack ("we", "us", "this site") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit fitbizstack.com. We keep it as short and readable as we can without hiding anything.

1. Who we are
FitBizStack is an independent review site for fitness business software, operated from Spain (European Union) and written for a US audience. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@fitbizstack.com.
2. Information we collect
- Usage data. When you visit, our analytics provider collects standard technical data: pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level), browser and device type, operating system, referring site, and visit duration. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored by your browser that allow analytics and advertising to function. See section 4 for details.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply and to handle your request.
We do not require accounts, and we do not ask you to submit personal data to read the site.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and which are not. GA4 collects usage data as described above, with IP anonymization applied. You can block analytics cookies at any time through your browser settings or via Google's own opt-out tools, and the site will keep working normally.
4. Cookies and advertising
- Essential cookies. Needed for the site to function; they cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics 4 (see section 3).
- Advertising cookies. This site may display ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and find more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Affiliate cookies. When you click an outbound affiliate link, the vendor's tracking may set a cookie so that the signup is attributed to this site. Vendors' use of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we link to in our reviews.
5. How we use information
We use the collected data to: operate and secure the site; measure which content is useful; keep prices and reviews accurate (for example, by seeing which pages need re-verification); and, if advertising is active, to display and measure ads. We do not build profiles for resale and we do not send marketing email unless you explicitly subscribe to a newsletter, from which you can unsubscribe with one click at any time.
6. Sharing of data
We share data only with the service providers described above (analytics, advertising, email delivery) and only to the extent needed to run the site. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Your rights
- EU/EEA (GDPR). You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Our legal basis for analytics and advertising cookies is your consent, requested via the cookie notice.
- California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising and affiliate cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law; you can opt out through Google Ads Settings or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
- To exercise any right, email hello@fitbizstack.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Data retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings (14 months). Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for our legal records.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We apply software updates promptly and limit access to any stored data to the site operators. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures.
10. Children
This site is intended for adults running fitness businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
