01 PushPress
The short verdict
PushPress is the most transparent box and gym software we review. Every plan, every card and ACH rate and every add-on has a price on the page, members, staff and leads are unlimited on every tier, and there is a genuinely usable free plan — you pay for it through a higher card rate (4.99% + $0.30) instead of a subscription.
The trade-off is that PushPress unbundles: marketing and CRM (Grow, $329/mo), advanced workout tracking (Train, from $79/mo) and the white-label member app ($97/mo) are separate. If you want all of it, the Full Stack lands around $559/mo.
02 PushPress
Who PushPress is for
CrossFit boxes and functional-fitness gyms
that want scheduling, billing, check-in and retail in one place, with no sales call to learn the price.
New gyms
that want to start on $0 and move to a flat plan once card volume grows.
Martial arts academies
Rank tracking, invite-only events (belt tests) and priority booking are built in.
Look elsewhere if you run a boutique studio that depends on marketplace discovery (Mindbody), want the lowest predictable bill (WodGuru is $1 per member, capped at $249), or need official CrossFit programming bundled in (Wodboard).
03 PushPress
PushPress pricing in 2026, explained
The core platform comes in three tiers. The only real difference in cost is how you pay: a subscription, or a higher cut of every card payment.
| Plan | Monthly fee | Card rate | ACH rate | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 4.99% + $0.30 | 2.89% + $0.30 | Self-serve + AI, 48-hour human reply |
| Pro | $159 | 2.89% + $0.30 | 0.79% + $0.30 | AI, live human and video calls |
| Max | $229 | 2.75% + $0.30 | 0.79% + $0.30 | AI, live human and video calls |
So which is cheapest? It depends on how much you run through cards each month. We compared the monthly fee plus the percentage part of card processing (the $0.30 per transaction is the same on every plan):
| Card volume / month | Free | Pro | Max | Cheapest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $3,000 | $150 | $246 | $312 | Free |
| $8,000 | $399 | $390 | $449 | Pro |
| $15,000 | $749 | $593 | $642 | Pro |
| $30,000 | $1,497 | $1,026 | $1,054 | Pro |
The break-even point
Above roughly $7,600/mo in card payments, Pro is cheaper than Free. Max only beats Pro on processing alone above about $50,000/mo — pick it for its features, not to save fees. Moving members to ACH (0.79% on Pro) cuts costs further.
04 PushPress
Add-ons and the full stack
| Product | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Train | from $79/mo | Workout tracking for up to 20 clients: programs, benchmarks and PRs, coach feedback, leaderboards (Core includes Train Lite for basic daily workouts) |
| Grow | $329/mo | CRM with automated email/SMS, lead forms and landing pages, WhatsApp templates, websites |
| Branded App | $97/mo | White-labelled member app with your branding, booking, check-in, workout history, push notifications and a community feed |
| Full Stack | ~$559/mo | All of the above combined |
A handy extra: Flex Fees let you pass transaction fees on to members so more of each payment stays with the gym.
