Mindbody is the biggest name in studio software for one reason no rival can copy: its consumer marketplace. Every plan lists your business in the Mindbody app, which the company says has more than 3 million active users. Around that sits deep class and appointment booking, POS, staff management and, on higher tiers, marketing automation and an AI front desk.
The problem is price clarity. Mindbody publishes no plan prices — Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate all say "Let’s talk". The only official number is a $79/mo starting price per location in the US. Owners report paying roughly $99–$159 (Starter), $259–$279 (Accelerate) and $499+ (Ultimate) per location, with the branded app as an extra add-on.

In July 2026 Mindbody announced US pricing "starting at $79 per month" for small businesses. Beyond that, every plan requires a sales conversation, and the figures below come from what owners report, not from Mindbody.

Before you sign
Ask for three numbers in writing: the monthly fee per location, the price of the branded app add-on (not available on Starter), and your card processing rates — Mindbody does not publish them. Third-party guides also report a marketplace fee of around 20% on a new client’s first purchase through the app (capped at $30), so ask about that too.
