Coachplan review
Four flat plans by client cap with every feature included: $110/mo covers 100 clients and 6 coaches.
Coachplan is a young Danish coaching platform (Coachplan ApS, Aarhus, set up in 2024) that sells four plans by client cap with every feature on each: Lite $29/mo for 5 clients, Starter $39 for 10, Grow $69 for 35 clients and 3 coaches, and Pro $110 for 100 clients and 6 coaches, taxes included. That makes it one of the cheapest complete tools in this catalog from about 20 clients up. In return you accept a 1.5% Coachplan fee on every client payment on top of Stripe, a browser-installed client app in Danish or English with no App Store listing, no wearable or food-logging integrations, and no third-party reviews yet.

Scorecard
How we scored Coachplan
Six weighted categories. Weights are published and identical for every platform.
What we like
- Four flat plans with every feature: $39/mo for 10 clients, $69 for 35 and $110 for 100
- Extra coaches included: 3 on Grow and 6 on Pro, at no extra cost

- Client app is installed from the browser (no App Store or Google Play listing) and runs in Danish or English only
- No integrations beyond Stripe: no Apple Health, wearables, MyFitnessPal or Zapier

- Very young (set up in 2024) with no Trustpilot, G2 or Capterra reviews yet
- More than 100 clients means contacting sales

01 Coachplan
The short verdict
Coachplan is an online and in-person coaching platform from Denmark, run by Coachplan ApS in Aarhus and set up in 2024 by two personal trainers (one also a physiotherapist) and a developer. It sells four plans by client cap, with every feature on every plan: Lite $29/mo for 5 clients, Starter $39 for 10, Grow $69 for 35 clients and 3 coaches, and Pro $110 for 100 clients and 6 coaches. US prices include all taxes.
That is cheap once you have a real roster: $69 covers 35 clients and $110 covers 100, where Coachway charges $379 and $1,029 and Trainerize Pro is $135 at 50 clients. You pay for it elsewhere: Coachplan takes 1.5% of every client payment on top of Stripe, the client app is installed from the browser rather than the App Store, and there are no wearable, food-diary or Zapier integrations.
The other thing to weigh is age. Coachplan says it has 100+ coaches, almost all Danish, and it has no reviews yet on Trustpilot, G2 or Capterra.
02 Coachplan
Who Coachplan is for
Coaches with 10 to 100 clients
who want one low monthly price and no add-ons to compare.
Small teams and clinics
Grow includes 3 coach logins and Pro 6, and session journals with templates and version history are aimed at physiotherapists.
Danish coaches
Coachplan.dk has a Danish dashboard, Danish support and prices in kroner (189 to 749 kr a month including VAT).
It is a weaker fit if your clients log their own food or train with wearables (look at Trainda, Trainerize or Everfit), if you want your own app in the App Store (FitBudd, PT Distinction), or if most of your income runs through client card payments and you want no platform fee on them (My PT Hub, PT Distinction).
03 Coachplan
Coachplan pricing in 2026, explained
Every plan has the same features; you pay for the number of clients and coach logins. Billing is monthly with no annual option, no contract and no per-client charge inside your plan. Above 100 clients you contact Coachplan for a price.
| Clients | Plan | Monthly | Per client |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Lite (1 coach) | $29 | $5.80 |
| 10 | Starter (1 coach) | $39 | $3.90 |
| 20 | Grow (3 coaches) | $69 | $3.45 |
| 35 | Grow (3 coaches) | $69 | $1.97 |
| 50 | Pro (6 coaches) | $110 | $2.20 |
| 100 | Pro (6 coaches) | $110 | $1.10 |
The jump to watch
The plans are caps, not per-client prices, so the bill jumps when you pass one: from $39 to $69 at your 11th client and from $69 to $110 at your 36th. Even so, Coachplan is below the median we track for personal trainer software at every size from 10 clients up.
In Denmark the same plans cost 189, 249, 449 and 749 kr a month including VAT. The 30-day free trial needs no card: if you never add one, the trial simply stops and your data is kept.
04 Coachplan
Payments and the 1.5% fee
Client payments run through Stripe Connect on your own Stripe account: subscriptions, one-time programs and a store page. Coachplan takes 1.5% of each payment, deducted before the payout, on top of what Stripe charges. Unusually, it publishes the all-in totals: typically 5.35% + $0.30 on a US subscription (4.65% + $0.30 one-time) and 3.95% + €0.25 on an EU subscription (3.25% + €0.25 one-time). Accounts in SEK, NOK or CHF pay 2.5% for now.
On 20 US clients paying $150 a month ($3,000), the 1.5% is $45 a month, and the published all-in rate comes to about $167 a month in fees. If you already bill clients outside the platform you can leave payments off, but then you lose the automatic client creation and access control that come with checkout.
Compare that with Coachway (no fee through your own Stripe checkout, 2.4% on its built-in payments), TrueCoach (a flat 5%) and Trainda (no commission, €20/mo to switch payments on). Our payment fee calculator runs the numbers at your own volume.

06 Coachplan
What users say
There is nothing independent to go on yet. Coachplan’s Trustpilot profile (claimed in April 2026) has 0 reviews, its G2 page has 0, and it is not listed on Capterra. Because the app is not in the stores, there are no store ratings either. Coachplan claims 100+ active coaches and 2,000+ clients, and its testimonials are from Danish trainers.
Support is by email and chat, with replies promised within a few hours on weekdays, plus an Academy inside the dashboard. Coachplan moves your clients from another platform for free, and programs where they can be exported; it publishes switch guides for Coachway, Trainerize, Everfit, TrueCoach, My PT Hub and PT Distinction.

How we verified this review
Plan prices, client and coach caps, taxes, billing terms, the trial and the payment fees were checked on Coachplan’s official pricing page (getcoachplan.com/pricing) in USD and its Danish pricing page (coachplan.dk/priser) in kroner on November 4, 2026. Features, the client app, AI and migration were checked on Coachplan’s feature, client-app, check-in, meal-planning, automation, payments and switching pages, its terms (October 12, 2026) and privacy policy (October 7, 2026).
