Fitness Software Pricing Report 2026: What 43 Platforms Charge
Published prices for 43 gym, studio and personal trainer platforms, verified October 2026: cost by size, card fees, app add-ons and free plans.
We track the published price of every platform we review. This report puts those numbers side by side: 43 platforms (31 for gyms and studios, 12 for personal trainers and coaches), each checked on the vendor’s own pricing page in October 2026. The figures are computed from the same data as our review calculators, and the full dataset is free to download and cite.
Key findings
- A gym pays a median $102 a month at 100 members. It is $85 at 50 members and $188 at 200, so the cost per member falls from $3.28 at 25 members to $0.42 at 500.
- A personal trainer pays a median $79 a month at 25 clients, from $54.50 at 10 clients to $117 at 50. At 50 clients the most expensive platform costs 9 times the cheapest.
- Card processing often costs more than the software. A gym with 100 members paying $100 a month pays about $320 a month at the standard 2.9% + $0.30, 3.1 times the median subscription at that size.
- 19 of the 40 platforms with built-in payments (48%) do not publish their card rate.
- A branded member app adds a median $100 a month where it is sold as a monthly add-on (11 platforms, $39 to $150). 9 more platforms give no price for it.
- 7 of 43 platforms have a free plan, each limited by members, clients, bookings or sessions, or on PushPress by a higher card rate.
- 5 platforms still hide a full price list behind a demo or a quote: Wodify, Exercise.com, Mariana Tek, Glofox and Mindbody.
Run these numbers for your own members and fees, card processing included.

Card processing: the line most pricing pages leave out
Most gyms and trainers collect fees by card, so the processing rate often matters more than the subscription. On $10,000 a month of dues, 2.9% + $0.30 per payment is about $320, against a median subscription of $102 at 100 members. Yet 19 of the 40 platforms that take payments do not print the rate anywhere on their site.
| How the rate is shown | Platforms | Which ones |
|---|---|---|
| Publishes its own rate | 10 | PushPress, MyStudio, Virtuagym, SwimTopia, Fitli, TrueCoach, Coachway, Vagaro, Amilia and Mariana Tek |
| Standard processor rate, no markup stated | 11 | WodGuru, PT Distinction, FitBudd, Wodboard, TrainerFu, Trainerize, My PT Hub, Everfit, Arbox, Punchpass and SimplyBook.me |

| No built-in client payments | 3 | SugarWOD, TrainHeroic and TeamBuildr |
Published rates start at 2.6% + $0.10 in person on Vagaro. At the top end, TrueCoach takes a flat 5% and Coachway adds 2.4% on top of Stripe for its built-in payments:
- Vagaro: 2.6% + $0.10 in person (small merchant)
- Virtuagym: 2.75% + $0.20 (card not present)
- Amilia: 2.85% + $0.30, plus a 1% service fee per invoice

Where the rate is not published, ask for it in writing together with any gateway, PCI, chargeback and inactivity fees. RhinoFit, GymMaster and Zen Planner quote the rate at setup; WellnessLiving routes payments through partner processors whose rates are not published.
Branded member apps
An app in the App Store under your own gym or coaching brand is the most common paid extra. These are the platforms that sell it at a published monthly price; the median is $100 a month, or $1,200 a year.
| Platform | Published price |
|---|---|
| Zen Planner | $39/mo |
| TrainerFu | $75/mo |
| PushPress | $97/mo |
| TeamUp | $99/mo |
| Gymdesk | $100/mo (first month free) |
| Vagaro | $100/mo + $100 one-time (US, limited-time rate) |
| Wodboard | $125/mo |
| My PT Hub | $145/mo |
| Walla | $149/mo + $500 one-time build |
| GymMaster | $150/mo + $450 setup |
| iClassPro | $499 setup + $150/mo |
No published price for the branded app: RhinoFit, Virtuagym, Wodify, WellnessLiving, Glofox, Mindbody, Pike13, Wellyx and Coachway. Some platforms include an app in a higher tier instead of selling it separately, and several add a one-time setup fee; see each review for the detail.

Methodology
- Scope: the 43 platforms we review, 31 for gyms and studios and 12 for personal training and coaching.
- Source: each vendor’s own pricing page, checked in October 2026, in US dollars on monthly billing. For quote-only vendors we use prices reported by owners and third-party listings, marked as estimates in the dataset.
- Cost at a size: the monthly subscription for that many active members or clients, before add-ons, taxes and card fees. The size tables include only platforms whose price is set by member or client count, plus flat plans for unlimited members (RhinoFit Standard and PushPress Core Pro). Plans priced by staff, courts, sessions, features, bookings or location, and plans billed yearly, appear in the dataset at a typical tier, marked as estimates.
- Card rates: what the vendor prints on its own site. “Standard processor rate, no markup stated” means payments run through Stripe or a similar processor at that processor’s public rate.
- Independence: some vendors pay us a referral fee. That never changes a price, a figure in this report or a score. See our methodology and editorial independence pages.
